14/08/2008   The opening ceremony of the First International Conference for the Integral Valorization of the Forest will include the presence of Ms. Hilkka Summa, Head of the Bioenergy, Biomass, Forestry and Climate Change Unit of the European Commission.

21/02/08   The I International Conference for the Integral Valorization of the Forest will open on the morning of 19 November 2008 with the reception of the participants and the distribution of documents.

22/02/08   The organizing committee is composed of different bodies and institutions involved in the forestry sector. It will be coordinated by the Dirección Xeral de Montes e Industrias Forestais (General Directorate for Forests and Forestry Industries).
