The I International Conference for the Integral Valorization of the Forest will open on the morning of 19 November 2008 with the reception of the participants and the distribution of documents.

The opening ceremony will then take place with the presence of Ms. Hilkka Summa, Head of the Bioenergy, Biomass, Forestry and Climate Change Unit of the European Commission.

The different topic areas will be discussed in parallel sessions from Wednesday to Friday throughout the morning and the afternoon.  Technical visits are also planned.

The conclusions of the conference will be read on Friday, followed by the closing ceremony.

A technical visit is planned for Saturday, together with a tourist route.
